So I have been hit with the stacked Pokémon bug problem. The Pokémon just keep coming and coming I now have 2 mew and 2 celebi as a result. What should I do. I’m worried they are going to erase Pokémon I caught today as well. I caught a shiny drowsee. Thoughts.

I don’t know weather this is in the game or if there is anyway that you can track this but I think there should be a way to track how many balls you have thrown in your career and even show how many Nice, Great and Excellent throws you have mad as well. This might seem like a pointless idea but I think it would be cool to be able to see them type of stats.

When we saw that there was a new hat Pikachu, my mom said "What do you think we'll find first? The Pikachu or a shiny Drowzee?" Well, it may not be a Drowzee, but she still got pretty upset.

So I'm not sure what is going on. I've played on a previous phone with no issues, and migrated to a new phone and transferred over all my data (mind you this is over a year ago). With my Pixel XL 2, I continuously pull the "Device, OS, or Software is not compatible".

Going through the Supported Devices list on Niantics site..

• Android 4.4 or above - Obviously good on this part, running Android 9
• Preferred resolution of 720x1280 pixels (Not optimized for tablet) - Self explanatory
• Strong internet connection (Wi-Fi, 3G, or 4G) - Solid connection, no dropping
• GPS and Location Services - Obviously.
• Rooted devices are not supported - Not rooted whatsoever, unless Google is rooting their phones prior to shipping now (they aren't)

Messaged Niantic support, essentially told the same answer 3 different times then told they are unable to diagnose or troubleshoot futher.

So with that out of the way.. What is going on, and what do I do to solve this?

Edit: I've already uninstalled the application and reinstalled it from the Google Play Store. Twice.

It looks like an Ash Hat Pikachu but I already have that one so it must be a bit different since it's a shadow.

A community day event for shinies would be awesome. I currently have a total of 12, and it seems near impossible to find new variants, long after they've been added.

I think they're showing up infrequently in general, but it'd be cool to dedicate 3 hours for some guaranteed catches.

The new Pikachu for the event apparently just appeared! It’s just started popping up all over for me basically just now! None of my friends I checked with had caught any before basically just now! I caught about five in a row in a matter of minutes!

Hopefully there will be a Pichu version with the hat appearing too?

Opened up my phone, expecting a standard day - clicked on Aron and to my delight it was shiny! Evolved it immediately and then exited to realise I was surrounded by psychic Pokemon and the event had begun!

Not what I thought my first catch would be, but made me laugh all the same! After not getting a shiny eevee or chikorita on CD - this makes me feel much better!

Just did my first Mewtwo raid, very nice random group. A guy threw balls for me, 11 excellents in a row with golden berry, and it ran!

Today I decided to get IV stats for all my Pokémon currently in my possession. I hope for a 100% Pokémon but I don’t have any. I do have a 98% Snorlax!

My next goal is to get a 100% Pokémon and a shiny Pokémon because I still don’t have any :(

My problem is that I’m in the United States right now and I’m relying on WiFi. I’m originally from the Netherlands.

Can it be shiny? I know Summerhat wasn’t but Party hat was... wondering if it’s been any reported sightings of this one shiny.

I couldn’t help but notice that the shiny Drowzee we are able to catch right now actually looks quite similar to a Kinder Surprise chocolate egg. Looks like someone accidentally washed it with some red clothes.

I can’t say I was expecting this, but at least I’ll be sure to get an event Pikachu!

Aside from them completely negating the Psychic event (I mean cmon it just started). This is my favorite of the hat-achus.

I don't think I've seen anyone encounter this before, and I am wondering what the reason for it might be. Here is the long and short of it:

I have a friend I've played with off and on for a few months now. We mainly get together at our go-to spot for community days, and the past week we've hung out a few days to do a few laps and catch some mons. Within the past couple of days, we've noticed whenever we click on the same spawn, it always has the same CP for both of us. We still need to do more testing to make sure it's every time, because we've only checked it with about 10 pokemon in a row, but it's been enough to show a pattern. We also need to check if IVs and mon levels are the same.

Here are some specifics:

• His account is level 32, mine is 31
• Both accounts were created when the game launched and we both largely quit playing until roughly the time of the Squirtle community day.
• Raid encounters do not have the same CP for both

Let me know your thoughts or insights, and if I can provide any more information to help figuring out why this is happening just ask.
