My EX Raid was completed...before it started?

I showed up around 10 minutes before my EX Raid is said to begin, and I even met up with my group to do it. I logged into Pokémon Go, but when it loaded the gym it had the icon for it having been completed, confetti included. I restarted the app and my phone repeatedly before and after the start time, even followed all of the troubleshooting suggestions. I was the only one in my group with this problem. That includes the other player whom I invited so there was 100% no confusion or mix-up with time or location. I reported the “Critical Issue,” but was wondering if anyone else had this unfortunate error and maybe what I should do from here?
