Trainer Traits (Discussion and Brainstorm)

So I don't have any illusions that Niantic is reading this reddit and is going to pilfer ideas from it, but I had a game mechanic idea, and I though it would be fun to talk it out with some other folks.

The basic idea is that each trainer can collect traits and has say three slots that they can assign traits to, granting themselves bonuses. Some would be free, while others would require specific tasks to unlock. I think this would be cool because it would allow for more differentiation between trainers . It would also allow Niantic to introduce or fiddle with mechanics in a way that might be useful to them, and help tailor each players experience to the parts of the game they like best. Here are some examples for clarification:

Bond of Friendship
Prerequisite: A buddy with whom you have walked at least 20km

Effect: A boost to the combat effectiveness of that mon. The boost would be scaled with its max stats, so something like a Farfetch'd or a Pikachu *wink* would get a very big boost to its CP and abilities, while a Mewtwo or Slaking would get very little. I think this would allow people who really love one type of 'mon that is weak in the meta to enjoy playing with that 'mon, without having each Pokemon become interchangeable stat-wise.

Type Specialist

Prerequisite: Gold Medal in that type

Effect: Each mon of the specialized type in a battle team gets a STAB bonus or Defense bonus for each unique 'mon of that type in the team. So having 6 different water pokemon would give a nice bonus, but having 6 tyranitars would not.

Collector
Prerequisite: All type medals at silver or better

Effect: Catch rate bonus for all Pokemon.

Professor
Prerequisite: Fill one of the regional Pokedex'

Effect: Exclusive field research quests each month.

Raid Leader
Prerequisite: Battle Legend Silver Medal or better

Effect: Each Raid you complete grants a bonus award of Revives equal to the level of the raid.

You get it. I want to hear other people's ideas for traits. Again I'm not imagining this is being pitched to Niantic, but it struck me as a really fun way to add some more personality to PoGo and I want to hear your thoughts.
